The Real Estate Club’s priority is to educate students on the specificities of the Real Estate industry through networking opportunities and self-development resources. The reality is that real estate is everywhere we look, yet most students do not know where to find concrete information and hands-on experience in the field. In order to bridge this gap, we host a variety of events aimed to educate interested students. These events range from cocktail hours to guest speakers, exposing students to the world of real estate.

 
 

What to expect.

  • Guest Speakers.

    We will be holding guest speaker events where students will have the opportunity to interact with Real Estate professionals. Some of our previous speakers include: Investors, Residential Real Estate Agents, Commercial Real Estate Agents, Real Estate Developers, Architects, Mortgage Brokers.

  • Networking Cocktail.

    Once a semester, the McGill Real Estate Club hosts a networking cocktail. There is usually one guest speaker and a networking cocktail follows. Many professionals from the Real Estate industry are invited to network with McGill’s most dedicated and determined students looking for job opportunities in the Real Estate sector.

  • Internship Recruiting Event.

    As part of a new initiative of the Executive team, this 2022-2023 school year will mark the first internship recruiting event at the McGill Real Estate Club. This event is aimed at bridging the gap between companies and students. Aimed at helping students get internships and helping companies gain access to bright, real estate-centric students.

  • Panel Discussions.

    Panel discussions offer students and executives an interactive experience where both can exchange ideas and knowledge regarding the real estate sector. This creates a lively and stimulating environment where students can learn and interact with professionals.

  • Peer Mentorship Program.

    Students on the executive team will organize meetings with other members where they will share their current knowledge of the Real Estate world. (Past internships, day-to-day knowledge, etc).

  • Case Competitions.

    Hosting a case competition centered around current topics in real estate. Teams of students from different universities assemble and put their analysis and communication skills to the test by solving complex real estate problems.
